Transforming Global Service Management Through ITIL and Value Co-creation

July 16, 2026
Case Study: Bayer
For more than 160 years, Bayer has operated across the fields of pharmaceuticals, consumer health, and crop science. As the company adopted its Dynamic Shared Ownership operating model, it sought new ways to accelerate innovation, empower front-line teams, and strengthen collaboration across the business.
As part of this transformation, ITIL helped Bayer reshape its collaboration with managed service providers, clarify end-to-end responsibilities, simplify service management processes, and create a more integrated approach to products, services, and experience.
